Exploring the less accessible regions of the world, Celebrity Xpedition is the original Expedition ship of the fleet. It offers a classic yet contemporary design for an unforgettable adventure. With a capacity of 48 guests, this small ship experience allows for a more intimate exploration of the Galapagos Islands. The most recently built of the vessels, the 100-passenger Celebrity Flora, is one of the newest and most luxurious vessels in the Galápagos. Almost no major cruise lines offer voyages around the Galápagos due to local regulations that limit the number and size of vessels operating in the destination. However, in recent years, Celebrity has jumped into the market in a huge way with first one, then two and now three very small vessels dedicated to the destination full time.

On a recent sailing, we found the ship to be more tired than trendy, and it was missing some of the glamour that you find on Celebrity's newer or refurbished vessels. We wouldn't recommend booking a suite on this ship, for instance, as it doesn't have a full Retreat complex. Still, the ship does boast the lovely Sky Lounge, which is perfect for scenic cruising. The specialty restaurant Tuscan Grille at the back of the ship is also a great choice for a late evening meal and fantastic sunsets. Regardless of which Caribbean cruise ship you choose, you can rest easy knowing that you’ll enjoy our accommodations, world-class dining, and unrivaled entertainment throughout your vacation.

However, you'll find plenty of suites and special AquaClass and Concierge Class cabins on Celebrity's other ships, too. They include two so-called Iconic Suites on each of the line's new Edge Class ships that measure more than 2,500 square feet, including outdoor balcony space. The smallest Celebrity cruise ship is the super-tiny Celebrity Xploration. Based in the Galapagos, it measures 320 tons, just a tiny fraction of the size of Celebrity Beyond, and it holds just 16 passengers.

The Indulge Food Hall makes up for Norwegian Viva’s far-too-small Garden Buffet, which was cramped and lacked variety.
